JAZZ 2003!!! It is that time of year when JAZZ is in the air. This is the 12th Year of the Festival and there will be many more years. Every year the FESTIVAL gets better. We are all proud of this event and I take the pleasure in inviting the world to share in this unique experience. Sars or no Sars, Iraq war or no Iraq war, the show goes on. Fortunately, there is no serious outbreak in the countries where our visitors come from year after year to attend the Best Parties in the Caribbean. This year’s line up is exciting , something for all ages. It is Earth, Wind & Fire, The Spinners, Darius Rucker, Four Play, Incognito, Nnenna Freelon, Los HombresCalientes, ( A contemporary New Orleans Jazz Band ) Michael Brecker Quartet, Boyz 11 Men, Yolanda Adams, and many more internationally acclaimed artistes. Internationally and regionally known local artistes Ronald Boo Hinckson, Carl Gustave, Rob Taylor, Barbara Cadet, Monty Maxwell, Claudia “The Diva” Edward along with Royal St. Lucia Police Band, Equinox, Diamond Steel Orchestra, Midnight Groovers, Reasons Orchestra, All Stars Steel Orchestra, etc, etc. will be at various Venues around the island to give the Festival that unique St. Lucian touch. Mucho, mucho Musica !!!! Venues include, Mindoo Phillip Park, Fond D’or, Balembouche, Soufriere Waterfront, Rudy John Beach Park – Laborie, Vieux Fort Square, Pigeon Island, Pigeon Island Side Lawn, Gaiety on Rodney Bay, Derek Walcott Square, Sandals Grande, St. Lucian Beach Resort and Spa and La Place Carenage.
There are numerous other venues for parties. You can start off early evening with a sunset cruise, get back in time for dinner and head for the day break party of your choice.

Members of the Hector Joseph Posse from London are already arriving and in recent years we have seen this group really enjoying themselves. That’s fun! That’s St. Lucia!! It is Hot, Hot, Hot !!!!! That is why I am convinced that you will love St. Lucia. It is a great place to be, not a dull moment. Long before the party gets going, several others are on the drawing board.
