Welcome to doing business in St. Lucia!

I have witnessed the developments in St. Lucia over the past 27 years and I proudly introduce to you - Saint Lucia as a unique destination for business and pleasure. You have my testimony, I have experienced it at first hand.

There are many positive phrases that have become associated with the promotion of St. Lucia – St. Lucia, Simply Beautiful and The Helen of the West Indies. Its natural beauty is astounding and impacts positively on residents and visitors alike. The famous Pitons (mountains) were recently awarded World Heritage Status. The area of the island is 238 square miles with a population of 150,000. The economy is the most dynamic in the East Caribbean sub region and has been attracting substantial direct foreign investments in Tourism and Real Estate.

In this article, I invite readers to get acquainted with Saint Lucia. We of the Diaspora of the Caricom Region will soon have a special privilege to do business in the region when the Caribbean Single Market and Economy (CSME) comes into being on January 1, 2006.
