Groundbreaking for Praslin Bay Resort Next Week

Yet another major tourism project will get under way here next week, with the ground-breaking ceremony for a new resort at Praslin Bay on the island’s East Coast.
Le Paradis, as the new resort will be known, is being undertaken by DCG Properties Limited, which is the development company behind this new tourism investment project..
The developers confirm that the Resort will involve construction of a major international beach resort featuring a health spa of international standards, conferencing facilities, as well as a marina and modern golf amenities.
The new resort will be constructed on 554 acres of magnificent topography on the island’s south east coast and the developers at DCG say it is being designed “to harmoniously blend elegant architecture with the beauty of the natural setting in that area” on the island’s virgin east coast.
Described by DCG spokespersons as “a haven of luxury” and “a gateway of privilege”, the Le Paradis Resort will also feature an 18-hole Greg Norman-signature golf course, which is to be managed by Troon Golf, an internationally recognized golf management entity.
Promotional literature for the resort says it will also feature “an international
Health spa with an enlightened attitude towards holistic wellness, as well as international four-plus star branded residences with spectacular views of the golf course and the ocean.”
The developers intend to make Le Paradis “a place to discover” and the place “to own the world of your dreams.”
The ground-breaking ceremony for Le Paradis, Praslin Bay will take place on Thursday, August 4 at Stony Hill, La Feuille, in the quarter of Monchy, in the district of Gros Islet.
The ceremony begins at 4:30pm and will be attended by the Prime Minister and other representatives of the Government, the hotel and tourism sector and the wider business Community.
