The public sector-supported Caribbean Tourism Organization\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s responsibility is to own, promote, protect, advance, and enhance the\u00c2\u00a0Caribbean\u00c2\u00a0brand. Whereas the private sector-led Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s (CHTA) mission is to be one of the world’s leading associations, representing tourism\u00c2\u00a0interests known for providing national\u00c2\u00a0hotel and tourism\u00c2\u00a0associations and members with exceptional value to generate business and advance a sustainable and profitable industry.<\/div>\n

In the Caribbean, tourism is our key to the COVID-19 transition and recovery process.<\/div>\n
CHTA president Pablo Torres last week predicted the Caribbean will see a return of tourism to the region \u00e2\u20ac\u0153faster than many parts of the world\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, thanks to the protocols and partnerships implemented throughout the region to help lessen the effects of the pandemic.<\/div>\n
