The Guyana \u00e2\u20ac\u201c St. Lucia Association held its 7th Annual General Meeting on Saturday, 3rd September, 2005 at the Bay Gardens Inn, Rodney Bay, Gros Islet.<\/p>\n
The newly elected Executive Board comprises of Edward Harris \u00e2\u20ac\u201c President, Alyson Chester \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Vice President, Sonjette Rodrigues – Secretary, Terrence Campbell \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Treasurer, Patrick Chester \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Public Relations Officer, Adrian George and Helena Neptune \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Committee Members, Mervyn Devonish – Southern Chapter Representative<\/p>\n
At the 1st Executive Board Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, 13th September, 2005, additional Committee Members will be co-opted and Convenors of Special Committees will be identified.<\/p>\n
In the meantime, the President and Members with the co-operation of Mr. Lokesh Singh, Honourary Consul for Guyana to Saint Lucia are moving ahead with plans for a Delegation of Businesspersons and Individuals to visit Guyana for Guy Expo 2005 which will be held at Sophia Exhibition Site during the period September 22 to 27, 2005. <\/p>\n
His Excellency Bharrat Jagdeo, President of the Republic of Guyana during a recent visit to St. Lucia extended an invitation to the Association for a Delegation to attend this year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Guy Expo.<\/p>\n
