As we say farewell to 2005 and welcome 2006, let us draw strength from the positive things that have happened in our world during the year 2005.
While we must be concerned about the situation with respect to the decline in law and order, it is the overwhelming positive actions we take in a sustainable manner that will bring about a reversal of the negative deeds around us which threatens our normally peaceful existence.
Let us all strive to make the prevention of crime our business by getting involved in social programmes and generally giving back to our communities.
