THE MULTI LEVEL MARKETING INDUSTRY
CAN BE THE GAME CHANGER!

So far no one has volunteered to share their experiences but I am getting ready to call out a few business persons who have done very well in the MLM business. They owe it to themselves and all those who are struggling to put bread on the table, especially the young people who today have much more favourable conditions to thrive in the MLM business. Where are the leaders? Too often many persons are aware of projects that can relieve the hardships being experienced by many but simply refuse to share. People need to stand up and say MLM is a legitimate business and there is money to be made. Moreover the industry is about lifestyle changes. While the MLM industry operates on a level playing field, there seems to be those who will rather suppress the real truth about the industry rather than share it.

It is human nature to follow leaders and in every situation that necessitates a revolutionary posture, someone has to step forward and endorse the initiative. There are many in our midst who have established themselves in the MLM industry. They speak about the several cruises and convention trips they won and how their monthly bonus cheques were substantial. Sometimes, if you are privileged to be in conversations where there is an opportunity to share, when you hear who made real money in the MLM business in St. Lucia, your jaw will drop. You would have never imagined that those financially successful persons were once Elite Producers in the MLM industry. Many High Ranking Professionals, Hoteliers, Realtors,
Manufacturers, etc. were involved in Multi Level Marketing/Network Marketing and a new group is currently establishing themselves. So it is fair to say that MLM is not only for the little guys, many big guys have had their day in the industry. However, today, many due to lack of knowledge feel that the industry is only for the underdogs. Some people look at you with scorn whenever you utter the words Multi Level Marketing. It is time that those who experienced the joy of MLM, enjoyed the lifestyle of the rich and famous, stand up and let those who are unaware of the glorious opportunities offered by the industry know the truth.

Since my last article, I subscribed to a programme offered by Max Steingart – Endless Free Leads 7.0 I have been following Max for quite a few years and shared his motivational pieces with readers of my weekly column – Harris at Large. I recommend that you check out Max’s webinars and get a glimpse at what Social Media have done for the Networking Marketing Industry which is all about establishing relationships, talking with people all over the world from the comfort of your home. MLM is a home based business. There is no need for an office. I know of persons with thousands of Facebook Fans. They are also on Twitter, Linkedin and My Space. Literally, they are sitting on Gold Mines. MLM is truly a global business and I wish to assure my readers that the MLM industry is the industry that will make a difference in the lives of the unemployed, underemployed and those who feel the need to get involved in an exciting career/business. Because you are in the industry to stay, you will always be engaged in the industry. When a company does not work out, you move on, you do not more out of the industry, you find a better company. That is the reason why you hear about an entire organization moving with their leader/leaders to another company. Many times they will favour start ups as these new operations present unique opportunities to reach the top. Experience will make you a good judge of companies that come on the market from time to time. There will always be fraudsters but you should be headed where the good guys are. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is very much on the ball, weeding out the bad apples as soon as they are spotted. On the other hand many MLM companies have done so well that they are on the stock market. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is an independent agency of the United States government, established in 1914 by the Federal Trade Commission Act. Its principal mission is the promotion of “consumer protection” and the elimination and prevention of what regulators perceive to be “anti-competitive” business practices.

I will like to invite persons who have been involved in Multi Level Marketing and those who are currently building their businesses to share their experiences in no more than 300 words with me. I will be pleased to give credit to individuals for their contribution. MLM is good for everyone whether seeking out quality products or services and it is time those who know at first hand that it is a legitimate business – take a stand.
