DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT IN 2012! 

It has been a privilege and a pleasure to present my ideas and commentaries on developments around the world to my reading audience for the past fourteen years. I have had occasions to look back at some of my writings and thanked my Creator for giving me the vision. One of my greatest achievements is my writings. I consider the articles I have written over the years to be my legacy. Looking back it was well worth the effort. My archive at www.stluciasimplybeautiful.com stands testimony to my life of caring and sharing. It would be remiss of me if I failed to mention my book entitled “You can be a successful business person” with the subtitle –“Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Fundamentals” 

In recent times persons have suggested that I do a compilation of my best articles and offer it as a book. Some have even come up with titles. Maybe I will sometime in the not too distant future. For the moment, I am putting together my autobiography at least for the entertainment of my family and friends. It would have been so nice if I had something on the life experiences of my family but maybe the lot has fallen upon me to tell theirs and mine.

My Television Show on MBC, Channels 42 LIME and 52 Karibcable which is aired on Tuesdays 8.00pm and Sundays 7.30pm with the title “Let’s Talk Business is exactly what the name implies.  I am very heartened by the responses to this Show and I am dedicated to sharing critical information including trends in various industries that come across my desktop computer on a daily basis. I am really happy to be a part of the internet world. It is amazing how you can broaden your scope of knowledge with the effective use of Google Search.

We are still in the first month of 2012 and some people are still tweaking their resolutions. Maybe it is not too late to include another or a few more. Resolve to do something that you have never done before such as joining a business association or a social club. I recommend that you join the Toastmasters Club. Plan to read a book a month. While on the subject of reading, if you are interested in learning from the most successful Entrepreneurs of our time, I recommend that you get a copy of “Conversations with Millionaires” by Mike Litman. It is available at no cost to you. It has been put in the public domain. It is FREE! It is also timely to mention that “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill is also FREE!

I have a recommendation to get you off to a life changing experience this year. If until now you have been unwilling to share your ideas for a project or advancing your profession with other persons who can give you advice, get a Life Coach and stop holding yourself back. If you are in business get a Business Coach. Get involve in groups that are likely to expose you to persons who can provide you with the knowledge to accelerate your progress. Explore the principles of a matter mind group and put together a group of trusted individuals with like minds.

Don’t be afraid to buy information from trusted and reputable sources in the industry or profession of interest to you. There   are lots of free useful information on the internet. Use as much of the free information as possible before deciding to purchase any report. In many instances it may not be necessary.

Predictions for year 2012 are quite scary even the possibility of the end of the world on December 21. However from my vantage point, I see 2012 as the most eventful year in recent history. There is no need to fear. Get out there and secure your share of the pie. There are opportunities all around, right here in St. Lucia. Many successful businesses in the developed countries are yet to be introduced in the region and there are some opportunities for St. Lucian Entrepreneurs to invest overseas.

Do something different in 2012! You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going.

Remember always to Keep the Faith, God is in Charge, Dream Big and expect Daily Miracles!
