The Scammers are at their best when periods of uncertainties in the financial world exist. I was one of the recipients of the email hereunder:

I am sorry I didn’t inform you about my traveling to Europe for a program called Empowering Youth to Fight Racism, HIV/AIDS, and Lack of Education, the program is taking place in three major countries in Europe which are Ireland, Scotland and England, I am presently in London, England.
I misplaced my wallet on my way to the hotel where my money, and other valuable things were kept. I will like you to assist me with a soft loan urgently with the sum of $1,500 Pounds to settle my hotel bills and get myself back home.
I will appreciate whatever you can afford to send. I’ll pay you back as soon as I return, Let me know if you can assist, please use this information to transfer the money to me.

The person requesting the assistance as indicated in the email was not in London, never left St. Lucia for any reason at the time the email was circulated. When things like these happen I get really worried and I challenge myself not to be side tracked from the power of the internet to propel business. Evil persons are all around us and we must be forever mindful of what we do in transacting business. We must be prepared to spend time checking out the information we receive. The rogues are playing with our emotions. It is important not to act on emotions.
Don’t fall for those letters from people who want to share their families’ wealth with you. These letters are coming from everywhere now, even China. They even invite you to various destinations around the world and show you the money. What you don’t know is whether it is genuine or counterfeit?
We are playing in a much bigger game than we have trained for. It is necessary for us to stay in tune with developments around the world and that includes scams.

By the time we meet again through this medium, it will be over with the Presidential race in the USA. I am praying that God will give the visible majority their reward of a victory for Obama. I must admit in recent years, I have not been a good wager on election results but this time I will place my bets on Obama. I believe within my heart that he is good for America and the world, especially at this juncture when the world is crying out for a unity and not division. A change has got to come and the moment is now! Truth will prevail!
