BRAINSTORMING AND MASTERMINDING WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES IN 2009 AND BEYOND
It is going to take discipline to change our circumstances in these difficult times. Those persons who can find time for nothing else but being busy grappling with their individual problems will have to change their approach. Find a group to brainstorm, exchange ideas and experiences, find solutions to problems and change your circumstances.
Being busy has to change to being involved. Even in your own precarious position, find ways to help others. People don’t only learn from success stories, they also learn from the mistakes of others and it is the latter than can prevent many from making fatal mistakes. So there is a place for both good and bad news. There are always lessons to be learnt.
During the past two years, I have been sifting out the idea of starting a
mastermind group. Due to my recent exposure to goal setting, I decided to set a goal to start the group and implement it within the first week of 2009. I am already experiencing the power of goal setting with clearly defined path to implementation within a specified time frame. When you set goals with a burning desire to succeed, a number of things that will bring your goals into reality begin to happen. So in fourteen days my website is on line and a few persons have joined. I am looking for people who want to change their financial and social circumstances. Within the first week of the launch of the Brainstorming Mastermind Group a client visited my office and I told her about the group. She informed me that she received an email on Masterminding recently and if the group was connected with any other group. I responded in the negative and requested that she share the information with me which I now share with you.
“If you don’t know the concept of Masterminding then you should. It’s a simple idea, but with devastating results. A group of like-minded people sit around the table and demonstrate their latest ideas. Detailing what works, what doesn’t work and, more importantly, getting feedback and even more ideas from other members.
Masterminding is a well-proven concept that simply works. So if you want to improve whatever it is that you’re doing – join a Mastermind. If you don’t know of any, then start one of your own in your area. I know it would work.

I have a friend who is on a mission to alleviate poverty around the world; he is a multi-millionaire and has done some very interesting things in his life so far.
